Tips - how to post on your team blogs

Hi class,

Blogging is a good tool for communicate ideas. Let's play with it for a while and see how you feel about it. :)

1. Check your e-mail. You will find an invitation letter sent from your team blog.

2. Click the link in that email and it will lead you to the page where you could create an account and a password. Choose a username and password which are easy to remember.

* If you were the one creating a blogsite in class, you don't have to create another username. You could just use that username and password.

3. Sign in your team blog. Click "customize" on the top, click the "posting'" tag, and click "create" to write a new article.

4. Type in the title and your 3 to 5 lesson plan ideas (what you're going to teach within a class, and what technology resources might be appropriate. )

As to the lesson plan ideas, you just need to tell your team members and me that what subject and content you might be interested in teaching one class. You don't have to provide many details at this point, but you're encouraged to think more.

5. Add a label which is your name (just type it in the box) for this post. The box is on the bottom
(You also could put two lebals for the same post, such as "lesson ideas, chunyi" )

6. Publish it.

7. Click "view blog. "

8. If you want to edit your article, you could click the little pencil at the end of your article. You could revise it quickly there and publish again.

9. Feel free to make comments for each other and also think of what technology resources could be helpful.

10. Have fun!

If you have any questions, email me cl17@indiana.edu and let me know how I could help you :)
